Scope

Engel performed sitework and deep excavation for a new biogas facility encompassing 25 separate building foundations, 150,000 CY of excavation, and 50,000 LF of electrical underground excavation and backfill — a mission-critical project demanding precision at every stage.

Challenges Overcome

With 25 building foundations and multiple crews operating across the site, coordinating with other construction trades was as important as the work itself. Daily pull plan meetings kept production on schedule and communication tight, ensuring every crew and trade stayed aligned without compromising safety. On a project with this level of complexity, that coordination wasn’t just nice-to-have — it was the job.
